The People’s Center staff has decided to “Rebrand” and change the name of our center to honor three of our chiefs that represent our tribes of CSKT, the Salish, Pend d’Oreille and Kootenai. Approved by our Tribal Council we will be changing the name to “Three Chiefs Culture Center” Museum & Gift Shop. We will continue operating our gift shop, Museum and cultural education programming as before the fire but with new cultural education programming, museum-gallery exhibits to continue to tell our stories, share our histories and lifeways of our tribes. Our gift shop will continue providing native American made and designed items for sale.

Please be advised we will be moving to Pablo soon.  We are currently remodeling the old Glacier Bank building off Major Houle Road.

Throughout the year, Three Chiefs Culture Center Education Program offers demonstrations and history on traditional and contemporary life-ways. Providing gatherings, temporary displays, history presentations and the continued practicing of traditional events.

If you’re interested in cultural collections visit Three Chiefs Culture Center’s museum. The largest collection for viewing lies in the main exhibit room, titled “The First Sun The Beginning”, which first opened in 1994. This exhibit has been updated with additional exhibit pieces.
